Individual Lessons
Individual lessons are offered at all levels in all keyboard, string, brass, percussion, fingerboard instruments, composition and music theory. Settlement requires students to have an instrument for study and, in limited circumstances, may be able to assist students in acquiring instruments on loan. Many local vendors offer instrument rentals at reasonable rates. Settlement maintains and distributes a list of vendors at each branch for the information of students, but not as an endorsement.
Individual voice instruction is offered to students age 14 and older. The Gleeksman-Kohn Children's Choir is recommended for children ages 8-14 who wish to develop their singing skills.
